Day 1: Casablanca โ€“ Meknes โ€“ Azrou โ€“ Middle Atlas Mountains โ€“ Midelt

The 4 Days Sahara Tour From Casablanca To Marrakech will start from your accommodation in Casablanca economic city and the largest in Morocco. We will drive forward to our next destination Meknes which is well known as one of the four imperial cities of Morocco founded by the Almoravids dynasty in the 11th century, located in the north where it has a strategic position in the heart of the country. In Meknes, we are going to visit many sights such as the big gate of Bab Mansour designed by sultan Moulay Ismail in the bustling Lahdim square and we will walk or drive to our coming site is Habs Qara โ€œ Qara Prison โ€ built in an underground labyrinth that could host thousands of inmates. After your delicious Moroccan lunch, you are going to continue visiting the rest of the sights with a local guide:

โ€ข Lalla Aouda Mosque in Meknes: Found in the Marinid era in 1276, Lalla Aouda refers to Lalla Masuda Waliya (Saint), the mother of Sultan Ahmad Al Mansour Saadi. The mosque has been massively shrouded by the cause of the Alaouite Sultan Moulay Ismailโ€™s big construction projects in the late 17th century as part of a new imperial city in Meknes.
Our journey will continue to Azrou is located in the southern area of Morocco known for its cedar grove forest a place where one of the sub-populations of the Barbary Macaque monkeys has found. Day 2: Midelt โ€“ Rich โ€“ Ziz Valley โ€“ Erfoud (Fossilsโ€™s City) โ€“ Merzouga Camel Ride

After an early morning in the middle Atlas Mountains with a great breakfast at your hotel/riad, our second day of The 4 Days Sahara Tour From Casablanca To Marrakech will start by leaving Midelt and heading south towards Merzouga located in the Sahara desert. Day 3: Merzouga Camel Ride โ€“ Rissani โ€“ Erfoud โ€“ Underground Irregations System โ€“ Gorge Tudra โ€“ Boumalne Dades

The day will be started by dating with the sunrise in a panoramic view that is worth waking up for after your breakfast at camp you will have two options to drive back from your desert camp to Merzouga Sahara, which is to come back by camels or by Jeep 4X4. As for the city, it is famous for its festival in early May because there is no exact date for the festival, it is determined by the harvest season. During this festival, local Berber musicians play traditional instruments while others dance.
The last day of the festival is for choosing “Ms. Roses.” After a few stops to enjoy and discover the fascinating “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs”, we will move on to Ouarzazate, known as the Gate of the Sahara Desert. Ouarzazate is a city in the Draa-Tafilalet region. It is a Berber town where most inhabitants speak Tamazight, “Berber.” Ouarzazate, in the Berber language, means “city without noise.” Our first site is the Kasbah of Taourirt, built in the 17th century by a dominant local family. The Kasbah crucial position controls a junction of several river valleys. This Kasbah is one of many considered as part of the Desert Sahara Trade Roads, In the 1990s the Kasbah was registered as a historical world UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, Ouarzazate is an important tourist destination and one of the favorite spots for filmmakers in the world. If you are interested, we can visit the biggest cinema studio in the region that has attracted the major international film companies. Movies that were filmed here such as ” The Man Who Be King” in 1975, “The Last Temptation of Christ” (1988), “The Mummy” (1999), “Gladiator” (2000), and “Hanna” in 2011.
The coming kasbah site we will visit is called Ait Ben-Haddou is located 15km from our previous sight, Ouarzazate. This site was also declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and is located on the top of a hill with a view of the Ounila River, the Kasbahโ€™s houses are linked together within a great wall for fortification. The Kasbah consists of corner towers and a gate, while the houses are decorated with geometric motifs.
